Description
I Still Confide In You Almost Every Day
The title comes from a Halo Benders song that’s always meant the same thing to me: someone who’s lost a person they loved, yet still confesses their hopes and fears to them as if they were still there.
An old man stands on a frozen lake. Timid, testing footsteps mark his path behind him. The shadows grow long—his time of life. He’s retracing a walk he used to take with someone, and now he walks it alone.
